Locks of love

I got a call today about greening a photo shoot, and when asked “what’s a girl to do?” I railed down ideas about craft services, lighting, venue selection, choice of make-up, and of course hair. This weekend I found time to visit Lorena Glez at the Art Loris salon – whom I’ve called on for several fashion photo shoots, parties, installations, and just regular cut/color maintenance. I trekked all the way from downtown to Studio City in 90 degree weather just to see Lorena, because:

1. Lorena is magic with color and cut on my crazy curly Korean hair (say it 5x fast – go!)

2. Art Loris is one of the few places in town to solely stock eco-friendly hair and make-up products

3. Jacked up hair is no bueno
