TONALISM re-cap

The TONALISM project by dublab and SASSAS for the City of Santa Monica’s GLOW festival brought about 4,500 people in, there was a giant line outside the carousel pretty much all night long and I want to really thank all the people that came out and braved the madness to say hi and check out this very unique ambient music experience that Alejandro Cohen concepted last year. My favorite performances was the live set by White Rainbow and the dublab dj collaboration with frosty & Carlos Nino & professor canteloupe, as well as the video stimulus from Cal Crawford and Carole Kim. But my most favorite was riding the carousel with everyone and seeing happy faces — the memory will stand in time. There’s Ale & I below having a joy ride.
