At the Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego with Fallen Fruit

On Monday I had the pleasure of taking the train with Fallen Fruit to the Museum of Contemporary Art in San Diego (MCASD). It was my first time at this museum and I was really blown away. The buildings are gorgeous and engaging, and the art and activities inside of them equally so. In particular, there is an exhibit up called Human Nature: Artists Respond to a Changing Planet which was quite impressive. Eight artists were commissioned to visit and document endangered lands, returning with inspiration, sounds, video and artifacts to share with the museum’s visitors in beautiful art installations. You must visit if you are in the area, and I dare say it’s worth a 3 hour train ride from Los Angeles to make a day of it. Stay tuned for more information about an incredible happening of interactive art installations we are planning with Fallen Fruit and MCASD’s late-night program TNT on February 5.
