30 year old LACE

Los Angeles Contemporary Exhbitions (LACE)‘s art auction, this year themed Re:PRESENT, is going to be on another level. Since 1978, LACE has commissioned and presented the works of over 5,000 artists and has worked with artistic pioneers such as Chris Burden, Mike Kelley, Andrea Fraser, Suzanne Lacy and Bruce & Norman Yonemoto. We have become a force in the community and remain committed to championing the role of the artist as an agent for positive change. All Re: PRESENT proceeds ensure that we continue to deliver a safe haven that allows artists to push boundaries, expand the definition of contemporary art practices and inspire the public imagination.

As part of the LACE auction’s steering committee, I have done a small part to contribute to this unbelievable organization, and hope that you will join us for a very exciting night on May 22nd.
